Meanwhile, it's become a little harder to estimate how big your baby is getting. While growth is happening at about a millimeter a day, it's not just limited to height. There may be leaps in arms, legs, back, and other parts of that tiny body; meaning big changes are coming in all directions over the next few months. Your Baby's Lips, Nose, and Eyelids Have Formed

What else is changing at 8 weeks pregnant? A close-up view of your little embryo will reveal that your baby looks much less reptilian and much more infantile.

While your baby has webbed hands and feet, tiny fingers and toes are just beginning to differentiate, and the tail is almost gone. You'll see the upper lip forming, the protruding tip of that cute button nose, and the tiny, very thin eyelids.

The Baby is on the Move!

All this growth is exciting for your baby too. How do you know? Although they can't feel it yet, your baby's tiny body and limb buds are now twitching and making spontaneous movements.

Your baby's vagina is also growing. The volume of amniotic fluid is increasing, and your uterus is expanding to accommodate its growing inhabitant.
